  1. Can anyone order from Crown Publications?
    2. Yes, anyone can order publications from Crown Publications. Account customers such as schools, municipalities, ministries and other government funded agencies, should enter as an "Account Customer" as they may be entitled to a discount.   2. How much is shipping?
    3. Shipping is based on the total amount of your order. Please click here for more information

  3. How long will it take before goods are received?

    4. The estimated delivery time will be 2-3 weeks depending on your location. Shipping delays may happen, especially during peak season or severe weather conditions. Thank you for your understanding as we work to process your order as quickly as possible.

  4. How can I find a publication if I only know the ISBN number?

    5. Once you have entered CrownPub.bc.ca, key in the ISBN number (format: 0-0000-0000-0) in the search field at the top of the page.

  5. How do I find a publication if I only have part of the title?
    • From the Advanced Search page
    • Within the Search field (after Restrict By Ministry) key the word as a keyword in this field.
    • Select the following options available below the search field:
    • exact phrase
    • alphabetically
    • and 20 results and select the option: Remember by Search settings

  6. What is Crown Publications return policy?

    7. Crown Publications will provide a refund on saleable items:
    • in full, less shipping costs, for goods returned within 30 days of the date shipped.
    • less a 20% restocking fee after 30 days and up to 6 months of the date shipped.
    • in full, including shipping costs, if the publication is damaged when received.

    Prior to returning any publications please complete the attached Returns Form online and send to us via email by choosing "Click Here" within the PDF. Approval is required.

    We do not accept “collect” return packages. If we do receive a collect package or unauthorized return in error, the collect cost will be deducted from your account credit or from your refund.

    8. Yes. The Province of BC achieved the highest level of Payment Card Industry (PCI) Data Security Standards (DSS) compliance validation in December 2011. This certification helps protects customers against the risks of security breaches resulting in payment card fraud. Control Gap Inc., a Qualified Security Assessor (QSA) firm, validated the Province’s compliance against the rigorous standards of the PCI DSS.

    This is a significant accomplishment, and positions the BC Government as the first of federal and provincial governments to have met these exceptionally high card security standards.

    To research whether any recent amendments have been brought into force since the last consolidation of an act or regulation check the Bills, Regulation Bulletins and Orders-in-Councils available on the BC Laws website: www.bclaws.ca
