It is published by BC Housing in partnership with the BC Building and Safety Standards Branch, Engineers and Geoscientists BC, the Architectural Institute of BC (AIBC), and the Applied Science Technologists and Technicians of BC (ASTTBC).
The guide explores current building science advances and best practices related to the design and construction of building enclosures of multi-unit, wood-frame residential buildings. It provides practical information and useful guidelines to help ensure efficient and durable building enclosures in new construction. This publication is a revised version to the first edition of the guide and includes updates and lessons learned over the past six years.
